Alon practices corporate, commercial and real estate law. He specializes in the buying
and selling of residential or commercial properties, lease negotiations, lease drafting
and commercial lending transactions.
He is the author of “When Countries Go Bust: Proposals for Debtor and Creditor
Resolution”, Asper Review of International Business and Trade Law, Volume 3, 2003.
He was also the recipient of the 2002/2003 Council of Canadian Law Deans and the
Department of Justice Common Law/Droit Civil Exchange Scholarship.
Alon graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Relations and
received his law degree from the University of Manitoba. He was called to the Bar of
British Columbia in 2004.
He is a bi-lingual Montreal native who enjoys nature and exploring the west coast’s
sights with his wife and twins.
