GREEN SCREEN International Film Festival

Posted on October 24, 2011

The Mark Sager Foundation for the Arts, together with the Coho Society of the North Shore, is co-sponsoring the first annual GREEN SCREEN International Film Festival. This environmental film festival runs on November 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th at the Kay Meek Centre in West Vancouver. As the former Mayor of West Vancouver with a longstanding dedication to local cultural initiatives, including West Vancouver’s Harmony Arts Festival, Mark is excited to be a part of a new project that will attract both local and international audiences. This year the festival will screen films from the UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Russia, China, Japan, Australia, Thailand, the USA, and Canada. While maintaining cultural diversity, the common environmental themes of these films tie us all together.
