Three years ago a great group of community minded citizens, will the support of our three North Shore Mayors, iniciated the Mayor’s Golf Tournament. This annual fundraising event has become a popular funfilled community event. Bringing together the three north shore communities to support a variety of charities. Mark Sager of Sager LLP has been asked and has accepted the role as Chair for this year. In 2009 the proceeds went to assist youth programs, meal programs for the homeless and a seniors programs. On Friday October 30th, 2009 The Honourable Chief Justice R. J. Bauman was formally introduced to the public. There can be no doubt that he has the univeral respect of those of us in the legal profession. He is a person of high intellect, with a caring personality and always balanced with a wonderful sense of humour. Our Province will be very well served!

Monday October 19th, 2009 was a historic evening in the District of North Vancouver with the passage of the bylaws approving the Seylynn Village. Mayor Richard Walton and Council unanimously approved re-vitalization of the lower lynn area which received warm spontaneous applause from the many residence who attended to watch the vote. As part of the team assembled by Steve Hynes to help shepard this project through the community process it was a most rewarding evening.
